Language, Arts and AI – the future is now!

The event will combine performance, exhibition and panel discussions exploring the progression of AI and its application in language and art, its relevance for other disciplines such as design and technology, and the influence of artists in driving AI research and innovation. Many creative pioneers come from the German-speaking world or are heavily influenced by it and some contemporary leaders in the field live and work right here in Brisbane. Working with a selection of these experts, this will be a German Creative Arts Experience touching on the theme of Artificial Intelligence in language learning and the arts.

For this year’s Brisbane German Week Language & Arts event, we are joined by a panel of experts in creativity, language and technology. The discussion will highlight key takeaways from the latest research on what AI means for work, education and policy in Australia and elsewhere, and invite practising creatives to share their experience. The panel will be accompanied by an exhibition of artworks illustrating sites that speak to Brisbane’s historical German connections.
