Register any time free! Re-starting rehearsals in March 2024 with Conductor Bea Klepper. Initiated in 2019 by the Honorary Consul Michael Rosemann, the free GYC rehearsals are on Sundays at noon at the Coorparoo Memorial Hall and run through to October for a concert at the annual German National Day Reception. Open to secondary school age children that learn German either at school or at home are welcome to join at any time.

Discover the interrelationship between art, culture and science through the World Science Festival Brisbane (WSFB). Featuring interactive artworks, as well as local Australian and German artists, WSFB explores visual arts, STEM, First Nations culture, science and digital technologies, encouraging all audiences to take part.

Stilvolle Deutsche Automobile | Stylish German Automobiles
A stunning new exhibit is on show featuring German marques including: Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW and many more.
The film “Displaced” is coming to Brisbane and will be shown on 18 April at the Elizabeth Picture Theatre in association with the Queensland Holocaust Museum. Directed by Berlin born Sharon Ryba-Kahn, this film is a story about Sharon’s German, French and Jewish family heritage. More details here.
Initiated in 2013 by the former Honorary German Consul in Brisbane, Prof. Michael Schütz, the German Language Roundtable chaired by the current Consul Prof Michael Rosemann brings together key people and organisations quarterly, who are passionate about maintaining and promoting German language within the wider Brisbane community.
